13. Maintenance and care
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use
aggressive cleansing agents or chemical solutions because they might damage the surface of the
housing.
Check the screw connections of your helicopter regularly. Especially the screws on the electric motors
as well as on the blade retainers have to be checked and tightened again if necessary (do not use any
force!).
14. Disposal
a) General information
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable batter-
ies. Do not dispose of used batteries via the domestic waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the fol-
lowing symbols which point out that the disposal via the domestic waste is prohibited.
The designations for the relevant heavy metals are the following: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. under the trash icons
on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point
in your local community, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable
batteries are sold.
Thus, you comply with legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
