15. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built to the latest available technology,
there can still be malfunctions or faults. This is why we would like to show you how to remove possible
faults.
Problem
The transmitter does not respond
The transmitter turns off straight
away or after a short while
The system has only a low range
The model does not respond
The model does not take off
The model lands too fast

Remedy
• Check the batteries of the transmitter.
• Check the polarity of the batteries or rechargeable
batteries.
• Check the function switch.
• Check or replace the batteries of the transmitter.
• Pull the transmitter antenna out to its full length.
• Check the batteries/rechargeable batteries of the
transmitter and the model.
• Check the receiver antenna for damages and electri-
cal continuity. The support wire of the tail bar is at
the same time the receiver antenna and has to be con-
nected to the receiver/control unit electro-conduc-
tively.
• Check the battery of the model.
• Check the function switch on the model.
• Flight battery not charged completely.
• Flight battery defective.
• Tight mechanics in the helicopter.
• The control stick for the main rotor speed was pulled
back too fast.
