2.14.1 Timing of the Advancing Movement of the Transport Foot

At the greatest possible stitch length the transport movement of the
transport foot should be sychronous with the transport movement of
the differential feed dog.
Attention!
The greatest stitch length is only effective when the machine is
switched on.
Caution Risk of Injury!
With the machine switched on proceed with greatest caution. Do not
touch the foot pedal.
Presetting with gauge
–
Turn the machine on.

Loosen the screws on the advance eccentric 1.

Arrest the machine in position A.

Insert the timing pin 3 from the gauge set into the set out hole 2 of
the advance eccentric 1 and bring into a verticle position.

Tighten the screws again.
Fine adjustment
–
Lower the sewing feet.
–
Turn the machine in the direction of transport with the handwheel.
The transport movements of the differential feed dog and the
transport foot should be sychronous.

If the transport movements are not sychronous the thrust eccentric
1 must be adjusted slightly.
