Replacing the Tape Cutter

The tape cutter cuts the tape when the "0H" function (sewing zero
distance with tape) is not activated and the crimping value is changed
from between 1 and 15 to 0. Its setting must be such that it severs the
strip cleanly, the top edge of the moving blade does not project from
the needle plate and the tape channel can pass freely between the
static and moving blades.
Caution Risk of Injury!
Before adjusting turn the main switch off.

Raise the sewing feet.

Secure the sewing feet in the raised position.

Switch the machine off.
–
Undo screws 1 and 2 on the needle plate.
–
Remove needle plate and slider.
–
Unhook screw on tape cutter.
–
Undo screw 3 and remove cutter.
–
Insert new cutter.
–
Tighten screw 3.
–
Replace hook.
–
Replace slider and needle plate.
–
Secure needle plate with screws 2 and 3.
–
Switch on machine and test cutter function by pressing button 5.
