Tape Clamp

The limit switches for the tape clamp must both be set to operate 1 mm
from the end of the advancing movement.
Caution Risk of Injury!
Always take the greatest care when the machine is switched on.
Do not touch the foot pedal.
–
Remove tension spring 5 before making adjustments.
–
Hold down the "Y" key when turning on the machine.
The test mode is activated.

Press the "Y" key twice.
The program for monitoring the inputs is activated.
Forward switch
–
Push tape advance manually in direction A.
Switch b14 must operate 1 mm from the end position.
The display must change from "E14=on" to "E14=off" 1 mm in
front of the forward end position.

Adjustments are made by undoing screws 1 and 2 and altering the
position of switch b14 as required.

Tighten screws 1 and 2.
Rear switch
–
Push tape advance manually in direction B.
Switch b15 must operate 1 mm from the end position.
The display must change from "E15=on" to "E15=off" 1 mm in
front of the rear end position.
–
Adjustments are made by undoing screws 3 and 4 and altering the
position of switch b15 as required.
–
Tighten screws 3 and 4.
–
Replace tension spring 5.
–
Turn the machine off and on again.
The machine is ready for sewing again.
