- Multimeter with fine tips to be used as voltmeter when performing the
passage check on the dry-reed sensor.
- ESD protective mat to lead away the electrostatic charges. Alternatively
you may also touch a radiator since heating installations are grounded.
- Wire stripper. Such stripping tongs will allow you to remove the plas-
tic insulation from cable ends and to lay bare the wires for soldering.
- Special side cutter, Art. 170688. The side cutter allows to cut off some
pieces of cable out of the set of cables provided.
- Sharp modeller's knife, Art. 170687. The modeller's knife will allow you
to retouch the bore drilled through the vehicle's roof, if necessary, or
you will use it to cut strip conductors on the green universal PCB that is
installed in various conventional Car System vehicles.
- Fine tweezers, e.g. from Art. 170526. Using tweezers will make it easier
for you to hold cables while soldering.
- Permanent marker. The felt-tip pen will allow you, for instance, to accura-
tely mark out the future position of the ultrasonic capsule on the vehicle's
roof or to mark the poles when unsoldering cables.
- Pillar drilling machine, rough-turning drill or twist drill of 10 mm diame-
ter at most. You will thus manage the bore hole through the vehicle's
roof intended to receive the ultrasonic capsule. Alternatively you can
also manufacture such recess using a battery powered screw driver.
- Using a file and a rod-shaped mortiser you will be able to enlarge and
retouch the bores you have drilled through the vehicle's roof until you
have reached the exact size required for receiving the ultrasonic capsule.
- Viscous instant adhesive gel to secure the positioning ring and the ult-
rasonic capsule.
- Expert Rapid instant adhesive, Art. 170500 to fix the temperature sen-
sor to rechargeable batteries or to the soldering tags of such batteries.
- Translucent lacquer. On converted bus models lacquered window panes
will obstruct the view of the conversion PCB located inside the vehicle.

colours, Transparent colours", Art. 770136.
- Magnifying glass, ideally with built-in lighting, to optically enlarge the
components when soldering.
