Welding Joints
Weld horizontally
If the work piece can be moved, prepare the work
piece as shown in the picture.
If the work piece cannot be turned proceed
welding without side-to-side movements. Tilt the
electrode to approx. 40 – 50° to the weld
direction and approx. to 30 – 40° to the
horizontal level.
Weld vertically
For welding angle joints, observe the hints concern-
ing butt welds.
