8. PRODUCT FUNCTION

8.1. Compressor with adsorption dryer
The compressor aggregate (1) draws in air through an inlet filter (8) and compresses it, feeding it
to the cooler (10) through the check valve (3) into the dryer (9), and feeds the clean and dry air
into the air tank (2). The dryer continuously dries the compressed air. Condensate is drained from
the air tank via the drain valve (7), depending on the drying controls. Compressed, oil-free filtered
air is stored in the air tank ready for further use.
It is not necessary to drain the air tank.
A portion of the dried air from the air tank is then used to regenerate the adsorption dryer during a
break in the compressor operation.
Risk of damage to the device.
A compressor with a type ADS adsorptive dryer may only be operated in the S3
operating mode. The compressor is optimised for the S3-70% operating mode. It
is not recommended to use the compressor in a mode higher than S3-80%.
8.2. Compressor cabinet
The soundproof cabinet provides compact covering of the compressor, dampens noise efficiently,
providing sufficient exchange of cooling air. The fan under the compressor pump provides cooling
of the compressor. It is in operation at the same time with the compressor motor or after switching
on the temperature switch at temperature above 40°C. After cooling the cabinet area
approximately under 32°C, the fan turns off automatically.
Door of the casing with right opening may be changed to left opening (see chap. 13.1).
