INDICATIONS FOR USE:
This highspeed handpiece is intended for general dental
use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
The highspeed handpiece must not be used on patients who
have a soft-tissue injury in their oral cavity. The air pressure
could cause septic substances to enter the tissue.
WARNING: This product is intended only for use by trained
dental personnel. Read these operating instructions careful-
ly prior to startup of the highspeed handpiece and keep them
handy for further reference.
Observe all safety information and warnings, including the
following:
Highspeed handpieces must be sterilized after each patient
to prevent any transmission of infective agents such as e.g.
HIV (the AIDS virus) or hepatitis B which might cause seri-

ous illnesses or even lead to death.
• Suitable hygienic measures must be taken to prevent
cross contamination among patients, users and other
persons.
• Use the highspeed handpiece for removal (e.g. of caries)
only when the burr is clamped securely in place. Do not
pull the burr out of the highspeed handpiece head.
A loose or partially removed burr could detach itself from
the head or break off and cause injuries.
WARNING: You must not repair Sirona highspeed handpiec-
es yourself. The replacement of bearings could lead to sud-
den failures and injuries to patients due to the different lev-
els of wear of the newer and older components.
