Pressure setpoint from robot interface
• The setpoint of the compensation pressure with active gun compensation at the
welded part is specified via the robot interface.
• The format is a two's complement with a length of 16 bits.
• Thus, positive and negative pressure setpoints can be transferred.
• The weighting is 305μ Bar / Digit.
(decimal value 32767 ≙ 10Bar, decimal value -32767 ≙ -10Bar).
9.3.4
Gun compensation control via MGDM output XGM3 (pressure)
• The analog output of the MGDM can accept voltages from 0...10VDC.
• The weighting of the set pressure of -10Bar....+10Bar corresponds to a voltage
value of 0V...+10V at output XGM3.

• If range overruns result from the parameterization, these values are limited to
the permissible voltage range.
• The pressure output is pressurized with the set pressure of the reset pressure
as soon as the gun number has been read from the MGDM.
• If the BUS connection to the MGDM is interrupted, the last pressure setting is
frozen until the connection is reestablished.
