Set consumption limit value (over-consumption alarm)
The consumption limit value can only be set for sensors to measure electrical energy. This
value is the limit value; if it is exceeded, the over-consumption alarm is triggered (see also
chapter 11.h, "Over-consumption alarm").
To set the parameter, proceed as follows:
• Select the desired sensor according to chapter 11.c).
• Press the T1 and T2 buttons until the display switches to the cost factor display (CF).
• Briefly press the T2 button. The display switches to the meter constant (EC).
• Briefly press the T2 button again. The display switches to the over-consumption alarm PA:
Permissible value range:
1 W to 4000 W for "ES-1" in 1 W steps
10 W to 40 W for "ES-2" in 10 W steps
Preset value:
2300 W for "ES-1"
23 kW for "ES-2"
• Briefly press the T3 button; now the value is counted up with each button press. If you hold
the T3 button, the counter runs to the desired value at a higher speed.
After reaching the final value (40 kW / 4000 W), the display switches to "- - - -". This means
that the over-consumption alarm is deactivated.
• After setting the desired value, wait until the device returns to the basic display.
• To deactivate the over-consumption alarm, set "- - - -".
