4.9 Einsatz in Explosionsschutz-
Bereichen
In bestimmten Anwendungen können
die offenen Schraubenverdichter auch
im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich
eingesetzt werden. Dies bedingt
je doch ei ne spezielle Ausführung des
Ver dich ters, des Zu behörs und des
Mo tors. Allerdings können die An for de-
rungen sehr unterschiedlich sein. Sie
sind u. a. abhängig von der Ex-Atmos-
phä re, der Ge fähr dungszone und von
den gesetzlichen Vorschriften.
Deshalb muss immer geprüft werden,
inwieweit die verfügbaren Bauteile den
Anforderungen für den spezifischen
Einzelfall entsprechen.
Für Anlagen, die entsprechend der
EG-Explosionsschutzrichtlinie 94/9/EG
(ATEX 100a, Zone 1 und 2) ausgeführt
werden, sind folgende Verdichter in

4.9 Use in explosion protection
areas
For certain applications the open drive
screw compressors can also be used
in potentially explosive areas. This,
however, requires a special design of
the compressor, the accessories and
the motor. The requirements can be
very different. Amongst others, they
depend on the Ex-atmosphere, the
hazardous zone and the legal
regulations.
Therefore, it must always be verified to
what extent the available components
meet the demands for the specific
individual case.
For systems which are designed
ac cording to the EC Explosion Pro tec-
tion Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 100a,
area 1 and 2) the following specially
designed compressors and
accessories are available upon
request:

防爆エリアでの使用
特定の用途の場合、開放型スクリューコンプ
レッサーは爆発の危険性があるエリアでも使
用できます。ただしこの場合は、特別仕様の
コンプレッサー、アクセサリー、モーターが
必要となります。この要求事項を満たすには
非常に困難な場合があり、 特に爆発性雰囲気、
危険ゾーンと法規に左右されます。
そのため、使用可能なコンポーネントが特殊
な個別ケースに対する要求をどの程度満たし
ているかを常に確認する必要があります。
