DANGER
DANGER

Mount the lifting device on the hoist used or lift it on a forklift by means of the forklift slots.
WARNING
26
Risk of breaking loose from incorrect attachment
Falling parts might hit people in the vicinity, causing death or serious injury.
►
The lifting device may only be suspended from the central suspension bolt.
All other suspension methods are unacceptable.
Four additional mounting points are intended solely for mounting a flange plate
(optional). Direct attachment to or suspension from these mounting points using
ropes or chains is strictly forbidden.
►
The permissible load capacity of the means of transportation or lifting (e.g. crane,
chain hoist, construction vehicle, etc.) and the hoist must be at least as high as the
combined weight and load capacity of the lifting device.
►
The transportation or lifting device used and the hoist must be in perfect working
condition.
Risk of injury from turning on by accident.
►
Turn off the lifting device before mounting the suction plate.
Risk of injury from improper mounting material.
►
The suction plate must be chosen by the customer depending on the load (surface,
thickness, weight).
The customer is required to document the static strength and holding force
depending on the potential vacuum and to adhere to safety factors. The standard
DIN EN 13155 in its current valid version should be used as a template for mounting.
Risk of accidents
►
Be sure to take into account the weight of the lifting device itself as well as the
maximum load.
►
Attach it securely.
