SPARK PLUG
• Check the spark plug conditions.
• Check the spark plug type (see
specifications)
• Check the distance between the
electrodes: 0.6 ÷ 0.7 mm (F. 5).
SPARK PLUG CAP
RESISTANCE
• Remove the spark plug cap from the
H.T. cable.
• While removing the cap, do not
intervene on the H.T. cable, but turn
the cap counter-clockwise and
connect it to the tester (
follows:
- Tester terminal (+): spark plug
side (1 - F. 6)
- Tester terminal (-): H.T. cable side
- Spark plug cap resistance

10 k at 20°C
- Out of specification : replace the
spark plug cap
- According to the specification :
continue searching.
IGNITION COIL
• Remove the coil, remove the spark
plug cap and connect the tester

( x 1) to the coil.
A) Check of the primary winding re-
sistance (F. 7):
- Tester terminal (+): blue terminal

- Tester terminal (-): orange terminal
(2)
- Primary winding resistance: 3.6÷

B) Check of the secondary winding
resistance (F. 7)
- Tester terminal (+): spark plug side
(1)
- Tester terminal (-): H.T. cable side
(2)
- Secondary winding resistance:

10.7÷ 14.5 k at 20°C
- If one of the values is out of spe-
cification : replace the coil
- Both values comply with the spe-
cification : continue searching.
BOUGIE
• Contrôler les conditions de la bougie.
• Contrôler le type de bougie (voir
indications).
• Contrôler la distance entre les
électrodes: 0,6 ÷ 0,7 mm (F. 5).
RESISTANCE DU
CAPUCHON BOUGIE
• Enlever le capuchon de la bougie
du câble H.T.
• En enlevant le capuchon, ne pas
agir sur le câble de haute tension,
mais faire tourner le capuchon

BOBINE D'ALLUMAGE
• Démonter la bobine, enlever le
capuchon de la bougie et brancher
le testeur (
A) Contrôle résistance bobinage pri-
maire (F. 7) :
- Borne (+) testeur: cosse bleu (1)
- Borne (-) testeur: cosse orange (2)
- Résistance bobinage primaire:
3,6 ÷ 4,8
B) Contrôle résistance bobinage se-
condaire (F. 7) :
• Brancher le testeur (
bobine
- Borne (+) testeur: côté bougie (1)
- Borne (-) testeur: côté câble H.T. (2)
- Résistance bobinage secondaire :
10,7 ÷ 14,5 k
- Une des deux valeurs non
conforme aux indications: changer
la bobine
- Les deux valeurs conformes aux
indications: poursuivre la
recherche.

BUJIA
• Controlar las condiciones de la bujía.
• Controlar el tipo de bujía (ver listas).
• Controlar la distancia entre los
electrodos: 0,6 ÷ 0,7 mm (F. 5).
RESISTENCIA DE
LA CAPERUZA BUJIA
• Quitar la caperuza bujía candela del
cable de A.T.
• Al quitar la caperuza no tocar el
cable de alta tensión, sino girar la
caperuza misma, en sentido
antihorario, y conectarlo al tester (
x 1k) de la siguiente manera:
- Terminal (+) tester: lado bujía
(1 - F. 6)
- Terminal (-) tester: lado cable
A.T. (2)
- Resistencia caperuza bujía

10 k a 20° C
- Valores fuera de los especificados :
sustituir la caperuza bujía
- Valores dentro de los especifica-
dos : continuar la búsqueda.
BOBINA ENCENDIDO
• Desmontar la bobina, quitar la
caperuza bujía y conectar el tester

( x 1) a la bobina.
A) Control resistencia devanado pri-
mario (F. 7):
- Terminal (+) tester: terminal azul

ranja (2)
- Resistencia devanado primario:
