Installing the valve
WARNING!
Risk of injury when failing to observe tightening torque value.
Failure to observe the tightening torque value is dangerous due
to the risk of damage to the device.
▶ Observe the tightening torque value.
→ Follow a crosswise pattern in tightening the nuts to 1/3 of the
tightening torque value.
→ Then follow a crosswise pattern again in tightening the nuts
to 2/3 of the tightening torque value.
→ Finally, follow a crosswise pattern in tightening the nuts to
their permitted tightening torque value.

Holding device
To protect the valve actuator from damage resulting
from forces and vibrations, a holding device is recom-
mended. This is available as an accessory.

After installation

→ After installation, make the necessary base settings and adjust-
ments for the electromotive diaphragm valve. For a description
see chapter "9 Start-up".
NOTE!
Damage to the diaphragm.
▶ To prevent damage, execute position control adjustment first
after installation. Only then should the operating mode be set
to AUTOMATIC.
