Screw Fastener Indicator
When the preset torque is reached, the
cut-off coupling responds. The LED indi-
cator 41 lights green.
Both in the screw fastener table of the EXAConnecT
Register Card and in the screw fastener table of the
Screwdriver Register Card, "OK" appears in the Sta-
tus column. The screw fastener is in order.
In the screwdriver data field on the PC dis-
play screen, there appears the OK symbol
for the screwdriving data 29.
If the preset torque is not reached, the LED indicator
41 lights red and an acoustical signal sounds. The
screwing action must be performed again.
Both in the screw fastener table of the EXAConnecT
Register Card and in the screw fastener table of the
Screwdriver Register Card, there appears "NOK" in
the Status column. The screwdriving is not in order.
In the screwdriver data field on the PC dis-
play screen, there appears the NOK symbol
for the screwdriving data 29.

6 MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

Maintenance
Prior to performing cleaning work, separate the
access point both from the mains and from the
computer. In this way, you prevent the danger of
electric shock.
Should the tool fail in spite of careful manufacturing
and testing procedures, have the repairs performed
by an authorized customer service location for Bosch
power tools.
For inquiries and spare parts ordering, please include
the 10-place article number on the nameplate of the
tool.

Bluetooth Connection Indicator
Press the on/off switch of the screwdriver in order to
activate the Bluetooth
dicator 42 blinks as long as the screwdriver searches
for a connection.
A red light of the LED indicator 42 that lights contin-
uously shows that the Bluetooth
been made. The driver is still locked, however.
If the screwdriver is unlocked by access point
EXAConnecT, the LED indicator 42 goes out.
If the LED indicator 42 blinks only briefly after the
on/off switch is pressed and then goes out, the pow-
er supply of the screwdriver is no longer adequate for
a screw fastener.
You can read off the strength of the Bluetooth
nection between the screwdriver and the access
point on the symbol of the Bluetooth® signal strength
30 in the screwdriver data field:
There is no Bluetooth
Inspect the rechargeable battery charge
state of the screwdriver and whether the
EXAConnecT is ready for operation.
The connection is poor.
Take note of the transmitting/receiving range
of the screwdriver and the EXAConnecT.
Possibly increase the Bluetooth
strength (see Terminal Program Settings > B
set Bluetooth transmit power).
The connection is good or very good.
The device requires no maintenance. Always keep
the device clean and the ventilation slits free.
Routinely clean the connection sockets, couplers,
and plugs of the tool, after it has been disconnected
from the power network, with a dry, lintless cloth and
remove dust and dirt particles.
Have maintenance and repair work performed
only by qualified specialists. In this manner, it can
be ensured that the safety of the tool is maintained.
Any Bosch customer service center can perform this
work quickly and reliably.
Dispose of lubricants and cleaning agents in an
environment-friendly manner. Comply with the
legal regulations.
