Operating and Storage Environment
The device is suitable exclusively for operation at en-
closed work sites. For trouble-free operation of the
device, the allowed ambient temperature should lie
between 5 °C and 70 °C (41 °F and 158 °F) at an al-
lowed relative humidity of between 20 and 90 %, free
of dew.
Connections of the EXAConnecT
In order to document the measured values that the
EXAConnecT access point receives from the BT
screwdrivers, you will need a personal computer
(PC). The configuration of your PC or of your firm-
specific computer system will not be explained in this
operating manual. You will also be given only basic
instructions for the connection of release buttons or
barcode scanners.
Because the EXAConnecT access point is delivered
without connecting leads, the corresponding con-
nections have to be mounted first.
The
connection
EXAConnecT and the external
tools may be performed only by
personnel trained in electrical engineering and
information technology on account of the com-
plexity of the electrical circuits. Otherwise, the
safety of the operator and of the tools is not ensured.
Ethernet Connection on the EXAConnecT
Before you open the tool, take
care that it is not connected to
the power supply. The housing of the tool must be
completely voltage-free, because, otherwise, there
exists the danger of electric shock.
