(yellow) direct to the
battery. Otherwise, memory settings cannot be done or
it will have a bad effect on the memory circuit.

Tape Head Cleaning
Outside Cleaning
To clean the outside of the set (escutcheon and chassis), use
a soft cloth to wipe the surface.
Do not use benzine, thinner, or any other type of solvent.
To obtain optimum performance from your unit, these helpful
hints should be remembered:
* Before use, check the cassette for
tape slack. (Such as shown by arrow
1.) Use a pencil, or similar object, to
remove the slack by rotating the hub,
as shown by arrow 2. (Fig. 1)

* In the event that the cassette label starts to peel off, be

¢ Avoid touching or soiling the tape surfaces.
* Keep the cassette away from magnetized objects (motor,

Band einen Bleistift oder ahnlichen
Gegenstand

Cassettennabe
einstecken
und
durch
Drehen
das
Tonband
in der Cassette
Spannen,
wie durch Pfeil 2 gezeigt. (Abb. 1)
