7.1.3
Parameter recording
At the inputs "external parameter Bit x", a value sheet thickness for weld spot can
be given to the timer. The timer reads these values at the end of weld time and
stores them in the weld current log.
The timer does not interpret or modify this values.
7.1.4
Fault reset of electric motor-driven gun
With a parameter the reactions of the timer command „Fault Reset and reweld"
given by a user interface (versus an input) can select as follows:
• As a default, the timer will respond to the user interface commands in the same
way as to the corresponding input. The faults are reset, and the corresponding
activity (set Weld Complete contact or reweld) is immediately carried out.
• If the corresponding mode has been activated, the timer will not reset the fault
within the timer as a response to the two commands from the user interface, but
will only set the output „Fault reset and reweld ELMO" or the output „Fault reset
with Weld Complete ELMO". These outputs will return to 0 when one of the
inputs „Fault reset", "Reset fault with Weld complete" or "Reset fault and
reweld" is activated.
7.1.5
Welding programs with electrode nos. 1 through 99
When calling up welding programs with electrode nos. 1 through 9, output KSR
selection 1 is simultaneously activated. When calling up welding programs with
electrode nos. 10 through 19, output KSR selection 2 is simultaneously activated.
When calling up welding programs with electrode nos. 20 through 29, output KSR
selection 3 is simultaneously activated. For all other electrode numbers, the KSR
selection outputs are not changed.
7.1.6
Gun Force selection
The value on the outputs "Proportional valve programmed value" is an absolute
value corresponds to the value stored in the timer. The range of values is
specified externally.
7.1.7
Vehicle Ident. Number
This number is added to the data of the welding log in order to allow for a
subsequent allocation of the information to a specific spot on a specific car body.
The inputs will be interpreted as 8-bit ASCII characters. The ASCII_0 character
corresponds to the first character of the name.
The inputs read with every weld schedule.
7.1.8
Fault reset of electric motor-driven gun
With a parameter the reaction of the timer commands „Fault reset with Weld
Complete" given by a user interface (versus an input) can selected as follows:
• As a default, the timer will respond to the user interface commands in the same
way as to the corresponding input. The faults are reset, and the corresponding
activity (set Weld Complete contact) is immediately carried out.
• If the corresponding mode has been activated, the timer will not reset the fault
within the timer as a response to the command from the user interface, but will
set the output „End of Sequence (EOS)". This output will return to 0 when one
