NOTE
For the IO-Link master device configuration (including lights if necessary), ensure that the power supply
is within the specification of the IO-Link master.
6.2

Operation Notes

The system must not be used in applications in which the safety of persons is dependent upon proper
functioning of the device.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that local safety regulations are observed.
The operator must regularly inspect the BVS ID for signs of damage or malfunctions in line with the operating
conditions and environmental influences. If any damage or wear is found, the BVS ID must be immediately
taken out of operation and secured against unauthorized use.
6.3

Cleaning

The outside of the Ident sensor can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Persistent dirt can be removed with a cloth that
is first moistened with a soap solution and wrung out.
→ After wiping off the dirt spots, wipe the Ident sensor with a dry cloth.
6.4

Maintenance

The product is maintenance-free.
