Heidelberg Remote Service

Remote Service covers Remote Monitoring and Remote Control. Be careful when the key-operated
switch is activated and Remote Control is performed. This allows dangerous movements to be
remotely triggered.

Even during Remote Control operation, the
machine coverings should be as complete as pos-
sible.
During Remote Control operation and open
machine
• the service engineer must always be at the
machine and ensure safety,
• a warning sign (Fig. 34) must be attached to
the machine and be clearly visible (copy Fig.
35 if necessary),
• access of non-authorized persons must be
prevented, e.g. by setting up the sign in the
danger area or by cordoning off the area with
a black-and-yellow ribbon.
