Installing under MS-DOS

If you want to install PC networks under MS-DOS, follow the
steps below.
Note:
The M7 computer must have been started up under
MS-DOS!
It must not run under M7 RMOS!
Step
1 First install the required network software (Windows
3.11, Novell etc.), if this is not yet installed.
2 Start the network installation part of your network
software and change to the dialog for adding network
cards/adapters.
3 When requested to, insert the driver diskette 2/2
belonging to your CP 1401 in the floppy disk drive.
4 Select the appropriate directory on the installation
diskette 2/2 for MS-DOS (for a Novell installation, for
example, this is the directory \odi).
This completes the installation of your PC network.
You can now install the product CP 1401 as described
in Section 6.
