The settings for the CP 1401 are described in detail on the
following page.
There is an automatic module identification function in
the BIOS Setup of the M7 computer. This means that
when you plug in a CP 1401 it is detected automatically.
The CP 1401 has the module identifier 84
identifier is displayed in the "Detected" box in the BIOS
Setup.
You must nevertheless enter the module identifier
84 in the "Type Configured" box manually.

Your M7 computer has the normal PC interrupts 1 to 15. In
addition to these interrupts, each module slot has the
interface module interrupts IRQa, IRQb and IRQc.
You can set the interrupt for each module slot in the BIOS
Setup of your M7 computer. A PC interrupt can be assigned
to each interface module interrupt.
You can assign any interface module interrupt to the PC
interrupts but the assignment must be unique. This means
that a PC interrupt is assigned uniquely to an interface
module interrupt and an interface module interrupt is
assigned uniquely to a PC interrupt in an S7 module.
