Making the
Required Settings
Follow the steps below to set the interface module interrupt
and the PC interrupt:
Step
1 Start the BIOS Setup of your M7 computer and select
the module slot of the CP 1401.
2 Enter the value 84
3 Go to the interrupts list box.
4 Select an interface module interrupt IRQa, IRQb or
IRQc for the CP 1401.
An interface module interrupt must not be
selected more than once within one M7 module
capable of accommodating an interface module
(for example M7 CPU, M7 FM, EXM).
5 Once you have selected the interface module
interrupt, enter the corresponding PC interrupt for this
interface module interrupt.
A PC interrupt must not be selected more than
once within an M7 computer.
6 Note down the following settings made in the BIOS
Setup. These are required for subsequent software
installation.
