from the fully closed position (clockwise) unscrew:
adjuster (1): 17 clicks
adjuster (2): 1.5 turns
Spring preload: 10 mm

STANDARD setting:
from the fully closed position (clockwise), unscrew:
adjuster (1): 1 turn
adjuster (2): 1 turn
Spring preload: 11.5 mm
Shock absorber 749S two-seater
STANDARD setting:
from the fully closed position (clockwise) unscrew:
adjuster (1): 1.5 turns
adjuster (2): 1 turn
Spring preload: 15 mm
Warning
The shock absorber is filled with gas under pressure
and may cause severe damage if taken apart by unskilled
persons.

If the motorcycle is to be ridden with a pillion passenger
and luggage, we recommend setting rear shock absorber
spring preload to the maximum to ensure the best
handling and proper ground clearance at all times. It may
also be necessary to adjust rebound damping accordingly.
