In around 25 minutes, the machine will drain out the water used during the washing cycle
through the coffee brewer unit (4) in quantities of around 400 cc four times, with 5 minute
breaks between one lot and the next.
After the fourth time the descaling liquid is drained out, the lights will begin to flash again.

Remove the tank and throw away the remaining solution, rinse the tank well and fill it with 2
litres of water. Replace the tank and keep the two "steam" (23) and "2 cups" (21) buttons
pressed down at the same time in order to start the rinsing procedure, which will be carried
out in the same way as the previous washing cycle.
Once the rinsing cycle is completed, the "2 cups" (21) button light will switch off and the

machine will be ready for normal use again.
It is possible to carry out the washing cycle even when not directly requested by the machine, by
proceeding as follows:
when the machine is on standby, check that the coffee ready light (22) is on, then keep

the "steam" (23) and "two cups" (21) buttons pressed down;
- then follow the instructions as given above.
