c When not in use, keep the
rechargeable battery away from
paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metallic
objects that may bridge the
contacts. A short-circuit between
the rechargeable battery contacts
can lead to burns or fire.
d Fluid can escape from the
battery when used incorrectly.
Avoid all contact with this. In
the event of accidental contact,
rinse with water. If liquid should
get into the eyes, get medical
assistance. Battery fluid may
result in skin irritations and burns.
6 Service
a Have your power tool serviced
by a qualified repair person
using only identical
replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.
7 Special safety tips for drills
a Hold the machine by the insulated
handle surfaces when carrying
out tasks during which is it
possible that the screw / tool
may come into contact with
hidden power cables. If the screw
comes into contact with a cable that
carries power this will subject the
metal parts of the machine to
current and will lead to electrical
shock.
b Use the machine with the
supplied additional handle, if
available. Loss of control may
lead to injuries.

or a lack of experience and
knowledge as long as they are
supervised or have been taught
to use the charger safely and
they are aware of the risks
involved.

the charger. Cleaning and
user maintenance may
not be carried out by children
unless they are supervised.
c If the power cable of this
charger is damaged, it
may only be replaced by the
manufacturer, their customer
service depart ment or a
similarly qualified person, in
order to prevent risks.

charge batteries that are not
rechargeable.
e Place the battery charger and
battery on a well-ventilated
surface during charging.
f Separate the charger from the
power supply and allow to cool
down before cleaning,
maintenance and storage.
