Generally
1. Main switch
This switch turns the machine on
and off.
2. Mains cable
Entry point for mains voltage
supply cable
3. Welding cable sockets
DC positive and negative welding
current outlet sockets. Electrode
cable to be fitted in positive or
negative outlet socket in con-
formity with the polarity of the
electrode, and earth return cable
to be placed in remaining socket.
4. Welding current control
This dial allows infinite adjustment
of welding current across the full
7-150 amp output range. A green
LED switches
machine is ignited indicating that
the machine is ready for welding.
5. Excessive temperature/ON
If the green LED for setting of welding current switches to yellow, the reason is
disconnection of the machine due to overheating. Overheating occurs if the machine
is overloaded, but the machine reconnects automatically when the temperature has
fallen, and the yellow LED will again switch to green.
Warning:
When the machine is overheated, it is important to place the electrode holder/torch so
as to avoid the risk of establishing the arc when the machine reconnects automa-
tically.
6. MMA/TIG switch
When the switch is in its initial position (to the right), it is placed in MMA position
(MMA welding), and when the switch is in left position, it is set for TIG welding.
