8. Example for entering accumulator data.
After switching off the charging device, wait until the self test has been completed. Then, the lastly
set nominal voltage will be displayed.
Proceed now as follows.
• With the keys " " and " ", you can set the desired nominal voltage in the range from 1.2V (one
cell) to 19.2V (16 cells). On pressing one of the two buttons, the displayed voltage value will start
to flash.

• Confirm the setting with "Eingabe" key. The display will cease to flash.
• Press the "Eingabe" key once again to switch over to the setting of the nominal capacity.
• With the keys " " and " ", you can set the desired nominal voltage in the range from 0.01Ah (=
10mAh) to 12Ah (= 12000mAh) . On pressing one of the two buttons, the last place of the displayed
value will start to flash.
Using the " " button, select the desired point in the LC display which you wish to alter with the keys
" " and " " (the point concerned will flash).
This enables you to set the nominal capacity conveniently and quickly.
• Confirm the setting with "Eingabe" key. The display will cease to flash.
• Press the "Eingabe" key once again to switch over to setting the charging rate.
• With the keys " " and " ", you can set the desired charging rate. On pressing one of the two
buttons, the displayed value will start to flash.
Please note that the setting range now existent is dependent on the setting of the nominal
voltage and the nominal capacity! Depending on the number of cells, charging currents
of up to 8A and up to the 4-fold accumulator nominal capacity is possible.
