Sterilisation mit dem
STERIS SYSTEM1
®
Das STERIS
-Verfahren ist eine Sterilisations-
®
methode für in Flüssigkeit eintauchbare Opera-
tions- und Diagnoseinstrumente/-geräte. Beim
STERIS SYSTEM1
®
wird ein flüssiger chemischer
Stoff (primär gepufferte Peressigsäure) ein-
gesetzt, um Mikroorganismen auf Oberflächen
von chirurgischen Instrumenten und Geräten
schnell und bei niedriger Temperatur abzutö-
ten. Die STERIS
®
-Ge brauchsanweisung enthält
eine Anleitung zum si cheren Umgang mit dem
STERIS
®
-Sterilisationsmittel.
Warnung: Wenn die Geräte nicht sorgfältig gerei-
nigt und so plaziert werden, dass alle Flächen mit
dem Sterilisationsmittel in Kontakt kommen, oder
der Behälter überladen wird, kann dies zu einem
ineffektiven Sterilisationsprozess oder zu Beschädi-
gungen der Geräte führen.
Warnung: Nur STERIS
®
-Behälter verwenden,
um eine ordnungsgemäße Sterilisation der Geräte
zu gewährleisten. Das STERIS
-System nicht für
®
Geräte verwenden, die nicht in Flüssigkeit einge-
taucht werden dürfen.
Warnung: Nach Beendigung eines Zyklus immer
überprüfen, dass der Sterilisationsbehälter leer ist.
Wenn der Sterilisationsbehälter nicht leer ist, gilt
die Ladung nicht als steril.
Warnung: Bei Abbruch eines Sterilisationszyklus
sind die Geräte nicht ordnungsgemäß sterilisiert
und/oder gespült.
1. Darauf achten, dass alle Instrumente/Geräte
nach den im Aufbereitungsabschnitt dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung empfohlenen Methoden
vollständig gereinigt wurden.
2. Vor der Bearbeitung in der STERIS
®
-Anlage
eine Sichtprüfung der Instrumente/Geräte
durchführen und diese auf ordnungsgemäße
Funktion überprüfen.

The STERIS
process is a sterile processing
®
method for immersible surgical and diagnostic
devices. The STERIS SYSTEM1
utilizes a liquid
®
chemical process (primarily buffered peracetic
acid) for the rapid, low temperature destruction of
microorganisms on the surfaces of surgical instru-
ments and devices. Please consult the STERIS
operator's manual for safe handling instructions for
the STERIS
®
sterilant.
Warning: Failure to thoroughly clean and prop-
erly position devices so that all surfaces will be
exposed to the sterilant or overloading of the pro-
cessing container may result in an ineffective sterile
process and/or damage to the devices.
Warning: Use only STERIS
®
processing contain-
ers to ensure proper sterilization of the devices. Do
not use the STERIS
system for devices that can-
®
not be immersed in liquid.
Warning: Always verify that the sterilant container
is empty after the cycle is com plete. If the sterilant
container is not empty, then the load cannot be
considered sterile.
Warning: Devices are not sterilized and/or ade-
quately rinsed when a sterile processing cycle is
cancelled.
1. Make sure that all instruments/devices have
been completely cleaned in accordance with
the methods recommended in the preparation
section of this instruction manual.
2. Visually inspect and test the devices to ensure
that they are working properly before process-
ing in the STERIS
processor.

minar microorganismos sobre la superficie de ins-

trumentos y aparatos quirúrgicos rápidamente y a

Cuidado: Si no se limpian cuidadosamente los
aparatos y no se ubican de modo tal que todas
las superficies entren en contacto con el producto
esterilizador, o si se sobrecarga el recipiente, se
puede provocar un proceso inefectivo de esteriliza-
ción o el deterioro de los aparatos.
Cuidado: Utilice únicamente recipientes STERIS
a fin de garantizar la correcta esterilización de los
aparatos. No utilice el sistema STERIS
ratos que no se deben sumergir en líquidos.
Cuidado: Después de terminar un ciclo com-
pruebe siempre que el recipiente de esterilización
esté vacío. Si el recipiente de esterilización no está
vacío, la carga no se considera estéril.
Cuidado: Si un ciclo de esterilización se interrum-
pe, los aparatos no están correctamente esteriliza-
dos y/o enjuagados.
1. Preste atención a que todos los instrumentos/
aparatos estén completamente limpios según
los métodos recomendados en la sección Pre-
paración de este Manual.
2. Antes del procesamiento en la instalación STE-

lleve a cabo una inspección visual de los
instrumentos/aparatos y compruebe su correc-
