The main shaft is locked when the pedal is depressed.
This facilitates tightening or untightening of the clamping
nut and retains the wheel in the correction position for
correct fitting of the balance weights.
This lock is designed only to facilitate orientation of
the wheel and must not be used for braking the main
shaft.
Note
On wheel balancers equipped with the quick–acting power
clamp system (geodyna 4500-2p),
other functions which are described in the operation manual
for machines fitted with this equipment.

Основной вал блокируется, когда нажата педаль. Это
способствует затягиванию или ослаблению зажимной
гайки и удерживает колесо в балансировочном
положении, необходимом для правильной установки
балансировочных грузиков.
Эта блокировка презназначена исключительно для
упрощения правильного положения колеса и не
должна использоваться для торможения основного
вала.
Примечание
В балансировочных станках, оснащённых системой
электрофиксации быстрого действия power clamp
(geodyna 4500-2p), блокировка основного вала имеет
и другие функции, которые описаны в руководстве по
эксплуатации для станков с подобной системой.
