4.4.8.3 Network Settings

Description
With the network setting the IP configuration can be set and read.

Here the fixed IP address of the BVS ID can be set and read (see SensorApp network settings).
The IP address must correspond to the format "x.x.x.x". An IP address obtained dynamically via DHCP is not
displayed here.
Subnet mask
Here the subnet mask of the fixed IP configuration of the BVS ID can be set and read (see SensorApp network
settings).
Gateway address
Here the gateway address of the fixed IP configuration of the BVS ID can be set and read. (see SensorApp
network settings).
DHCP
Here the DHCP option of the BVS ID can be set and read. (see SensorApp network settings).
 NOTE
Inconsitent or invalid network settings are rejected by the BVS ID without error notification. It is thus
advisable to read the network settings after having them set and to compare the actual settings to the
intended settings.
4.4.8.4 Process Data
Description
A protocol is transferred in the process data. The functional principle and the available commands are described
in the chapter "IO-Link / Fieldbus Process Data Protocol".
