Safety Notes
Place the laminate cutter on a solid level ground.
Keep fingers away from the cutting area.
If you do not use the tool, completely lever down the blade. An upright blade
might be accidentally taped and fall down.
Keep children out of reach of the tool.
Mounting and Using the Laminate Cutter
1. Assemble the handle with the blade. For assembling use the 3 included
screws (8), the 6 washers (6) and the 3 included nuts (5).
2. Always place the flooring plank with the tread surface up on the laminate
cutter. Mark the cutting line on the tread surface, too.
The upper cutting edge of the material will be cut properly. But on the bottom
side of the laminate the edge will be lightly frayed out.
3. In order to make a right angle cut, place the longitudinal edge of the plank,
preferably with the grooved side against the gauge and use the provided
trestle.
4. The cutting width of the laminate cutter is approx. 8 mm. When cutting, also
include this material waste in calculation and make sure to place the plank on
the cutter with the cutting line on that side of the plank that should be floored.
5. Pull the blade powerfully and evenly through the material. After cutting check
if the tongue and groove joints are bent. If necessary, correct the position of
the tongue and groove joints.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The laminate cutter does not require maintaining.
Clean the laminate cutter with a lightly moistened cloth and store the cutter in
a dry place.
Store the cutter out of reach of children.
