Decalcifying

The frequency, in which the unit must be decalcified, defends on how often
the unit is used.
Decalcify the unit every 3 – 4 months.
Do not use vinegar, but use a common lime-acid based decalcifying agent.
Follow the instructions on the package of the decalcifying agent.

Cleaning the Spout Filter

1. To clean the spout filter (6), lightly lift up the filter in
direction 1 and afterwards pull it afterwards down (in
direction 2) in order to take it out from the holder.
Clean the spout filter under tap water. Clean the spout
filter only if the water kettle is cooed down.
2. To reinsert the spout filter, place the spout filter in
reverse order into the water kettle. Plunge the filter into
the holder and press it towards the inner wall of the
water kettle.

Cleaning and Storing

Unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
Wipe the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as needed.
Do not wash the device a dishwasher and do not immerse it in water or any
other liquid.
Dry the base and the water kettle well before storing.
Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order
not to damage the surface.
