Decalcifying
The intervals, in which the unit must be decalcified, depend on
how often the unit is used.
Decalcify the unit every 3 – 4 months. Do not use vinegar for
decalcifying, but use a common lime-acid based decalcifying
agent. Follow the instructions on the package of the decalcifying
agent.
For thoroughly cleaning the kettle, use a bottle brush and clean
the interior of the kettle in order to avoid calcification.
Cleaning and Storing
Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before
cleaning.
Wipe the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as
needed.
Do not wash the device in a dishwasher and do not immerse it in
water or any other liquids.
Dry the base and the electric kettle well before storing.
Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abra-
sives in order not to damage the surface.
Store the electric kettle indoors in a dry place that is protected
from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the electric kettle out of reach of children.
