Before first Use

Unpack the infrared thermometer and check it for any damage in
transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store them out of reach of
children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children!
Remove the protection foil from the LC display (2).

Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

1. The battery compartment is located at the rear of the infrared
thermometer. Depress the latch of the battery compartment cover
(1) and open the battery compartment.
2. Insert two new batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries.
The polarity is printed inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment with the cover.
The battery charging state is indicated on the top left of the
display as follows:
Battery charging
state ok.
Measurements are
possible.

Setting the Clock

1. Press the measuring key (6) to switch on the thermometer.
2. Press the mode key (3) seven times. The Set icon flashes on the
display and indicates the setting mode.
3. Press the measuring key. The 24 icon flashes.
Using
Battery low.
Measurements are
still possible.

Batteries are
