Before first Use
Remove the vacuum cleaner out of the packing and check all parts for damage in
transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store them out of reach of children.
Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.
The upright vacuum cleaner is designed for cleaning dry, normal dirty floors,
carpets, runners etc. Any other use is considered as inappropriate use and may
damage the device or the surface to be cleaned.
First Preparations
1. To unwind the cord, turn the top cord hook (13)
downwards.
2. Unwind the cord completely and make sure the cord is
not knotted.
3. Lift up the handle (1) as far as it will go until the handle
audibly locks in place. Now the handle is engaged and
ready for use. To fold down the handle, press the
releasing button at the joint mechanism.
4. Press down the releasing button (16) to unlock the
brushing roller and to make the vacuum cleaner ready
for use. Pull back the handle of the vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner can be used in the position (2) –
see below figure – for normal use. In the position (3)
the vacuum cleaner can be used for cleaning under low
furniture. The position (1) is the storage position and
when the vacuum cleaner is not used.
5. First familiarize yourself with all parts of the
vacuum cleaner before using the device for
the first time. By doing this you will make
sure all parts are in place and functioning
properly!
