2.4.2 Cable Clips

The harsh enclosure provides a pair of cable clips at the bottom. Use the cable clips to fix the cables, normally
from the Discrete IO (3I/3O) interface or the Discrete IO (5I/8O) option board, to the enclosure.

2.4.3 Harsh Enclosure Cable Glands

The IND500x hash environment terminal is designed to withstand severe washdown and dusty environments.
However, care must be taken when installing cables and/or connectors that enter the terminal enclosure. The
location of each of the glands and plugs is shown in [Connections Page 12].

WARNING
The IND500x is supplied with pre-assembled, qualified ATEX/IECEx cable
glands respectively ATEX/IECEx dummy stoppers. (The position X1 is covered
with a protective tape before shipping, see [Connections Page 12].)
WARNING
When installing options in the field, use only ATEX/IECEx-certified glands and
blanks which are specified by Mettler Toledo and qualified for IND500x:

WARNING
Correct shielding connection within the cable gland must be ensured and
according to the Control Drawing #30595335.
WARNING
Lay the cables securely so that they do not move and are effectively protected
against damage.
