6.2 Cleaning and care
To keep your appliance looking good and fully functional, take
good care of it; always keep all parts of the appliance clean
and, if possible, always remove any stains immediately,
as described below:
Oven front
• To clean the front surfaces, use a soft cloth or a soft
sponge and some warm soapy water or a suitable com-
mercial cleaning agent according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
• To clean and maintain the stainless steel surfaces, you can
also use commercially available stainless steel products
according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• After cleaning, rinse well with water and dry all surfaces
thoroughly with a soft cloth or chamois leather.
Notes on cleaning the control panel
The display and control element are firmly integrat-
ed or printed on. Do not attempt to remove them for
cleaning.
Oven door
• Check the door and rubber seal after operation for mois-
ture, e.g. from condensation, and dry them with a soft cloth
if necessary.
• Check the condition of the seal regularly.
If it is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified person
before continuing to use the oven.
• For easier cleaning, you can remove the oven door from the
oven as described in the relevant section of this chapter.
• Use kitchen paper or a soft cloth / sponge and suitable
commercial detergent to remove stains with.
