Description of the Appliance
Operation of the heating elements
After starting operation, the oven is heated to the set cooking
temperature by the heating elements corresponding to the
selected heating type.
When the set target temperature is reached (i.e. measured by
the temperature sensor), the heating elements are automatical-
ly switched off.
To maintain the set temperature, the heating process starts
again and again automatically as soon as the cooking chamber
temperature drops and it stops when it is reached.
Active and inactive operation of the heating elements
is indicated by the colour change of arrow icon marking the
target temperature on the display (1).
Maximum operating time
The maximum operating time of this appliance is 10 hours.
After this time, the appliance switches off automatically.
This is for additional safety in case you forget to switch off
the appliance.
Oven control during power outages
If the power supply is interrupted, the following applies:
• In case of a power failure of less than 2 minutes,
the oven control is not affected.
You can continue to use the appliance normally.
• Prolonged power interruptions will cause the appliance
to switch off and cancel all active cooking processes
and programme settings.
When the power is restored afterwards, the appliance will be
in standby mode if it was on before the power failure
and in off mode if it has been switched off before.
• After a power failure lasting longer than 48 hours,
the date and time settings are reset and must be set again
(as with commissioning; see the corresponding chapter).
