3. Warnings
In the event of a malfunction, contact the dealer or the manufacturer. Unau-
f
thorised modifications or repairs may damage your scale and void the manu-
facturer's warranty.
The indicator and scale must not get wet. Liquids (e.g. water) can cause dama-
f
ge. Use a dry cloth, e.g. a towel, to dry the indicator.
Disconnect the power supply to this unit before any installation, cleaning or
f
maintenance. Failure to do so could damage the unit.
If the scale is not to be used for a longer period of time, please remove the
f
power supply.
Avoid stacking materials on the display or placing weights on the display. This
f
can cause damage.
Place the scale on a firm, stable and level surface so that accurate measure-
f
ment results can be guaranteed. If the surface is soft or inclined, the measure-
ment results will not be representative.
Do not connect the indicator to unstable power sources.

Use only original equipment. Use of other makes may cause damage to the
f
scale.
Do not touch the interface and the patient at the same time.
