Appliance does not heat

Source & remedy
• Check whether ON/OFF switch is in
correct position.
• Check whether the power plug is
connected properly to the mains.
• Check the power socket by connecting
another appliance for testing.
• Check if power cord and/or plug are
damaged. If damaged, do not use the
appliance!
• Check if the overheating/boil dry
protection has cut the power supply. If
so, make a reset of the fuse.
• Check if the temperature control knob
is set to the desired temperature.
• Check whether the appliance is scaled.
Decalcify the pot if necessary.
• Appliance is still too hot. Wait until
the appliance has cooled. Then try
again to do the reset.
