Prerequisite:
The electric gear unit and/or motor (if available) are secured

against restarting.
1.
Clean the lubrication points (Fig. 40/1) on both sides of the
guide carriage (Fig. 40/2).
2.
Place the oil press on the lubrication nipples (Fig. 40/1) on
both sides of the guide carriage (Fig. 40/2) one after the
other and lubricate the guide carriage.
3.
Move the guide carriage (Fig. 40/2) several times to distribute
the lubricant evenly.
ð The guide shafts are lubricated.

Ensure that the oil press is axially aligned to
the lubrication nipple's direction of flow.
