Lubricating the guide shaft

Maintenance work
Daily
Carry out a visual inspection of the linear unit (particularly the
guide shafts, felt wipers and timing belts) for damage or wear.
Replace if necessary.
Weekly
Inspect the linear unit for dirt. If necessary, clean the linear
unit with a clean cloth.
Note: Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents!
Monthly
Inspect the motor's electrical connections for mechanical
stress and a secure fit.
After the first
Perform the operator's initial lubrication of the guide shaft.
2000 h

Every 1000 h
Lubricate the guide shaft.

6.3 Lubricating the guide shaft

Version
Size
Oiled felt wipers are used to lubricate the guide
shafts.
The felt wipers must regularly be supplied with oil
via the shaft lubrication depending on the size,
service conditions and environmental conditions.
Use a lubricant with a viscosity of approx. 200 mm²/s, e.g. SAE
90 gear oil.
Note: Observe the safety data sheet for the lubricant used!
