Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. This may
put your own and future users' lives at risk. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.

Select a lower setting (see "Setting the
freezing temperature" on page EN-16).
Check the door seals (see "Checking and
cleaning the door seals" on page EN-19).
Place insulation plate between the
appliances or change location.

of the appliance. The maximum freezing
capacity in the event of a fault is shown on
the appliance's type plate.
Adjust ambient temperature (see "Intended
use" on page EN-4).
Set the temperature to "–24 °C". Activate
the "Quick freezing" function (see "Quick
