7.1
Special features
The welding controller features the following specifics:
• Timer has been prepared for networking with an Profinet module (on-board)
• Number of electrodes: 32 (electrode no.: 0 to electrode no.: 31)
• The time within the current has to exceed a minimum threshold is adjustable. If
this threshold is not exceeded on average, the sequence is stopped and an
error message occurs.
• The "Stop circuit open / no 24 V" fault is automatically reset.
• The DC link voltage is always verified, the fault message is automatically reset.
• Due to timer-internal routines, the minimal preweld/squeeze time is 16 ms.
• The time within the current has to exceed a minimum threshold is adjustable.
If this threshold is not exceeded on average, the sequence is stopped and an
error message occurs.
When calling up welding programs with electrode nos. 1 through 9, output KSR
selection 1 is simultaneously activated. When calling up welding programs with
electrode nos. 10 through 19, output KSR selection 2 is simultaneously activated.
When calling up welding programs with electrode nos. 20 through 29, output KSR
selection 3 is simultaneously activated. For all other electrode numbers, the KSR
selection outputs are not changed.
At the end of the squeeze time the discrete input X2.4 is checked. The program
can move on to the weld time when the input becomes high.
The input „Operate force sensor" status is retransmitted to the analog output
„Operate force sensor" (X9.1, 0 = 0V, 1 = 10V).
The input „End Of Component" is used for the Q-Stop functionality. The Input
indicates, that all spots on a Component have been done.

Function Initial dressing
The function Initial dressing can be activated via timer parameter.
When this function is activated for a specific electrode a „Tip Dress Request" will
come immediately after the „Tip replaced" input signal.
7.1.3
%I Prewarning
Phase value monitoring is carried out after each welding schedule. The mean
phase value is compared to electrode parameters.
