Mounting the fixed bearing in the
bearing block
• Turn the block the other way up and lay
on a flat surface.
• Insert the new fixed bearing carefully in
the bearing block as far as it will go. Do
not skew the bearing and do not apply
force to the inner bearing ring!
• Coat the threaded ring with Loctite 638
adhesive and screw down firmly.
Threaded ring tightening torques:

Mounting the bearing block and
fixed bearing assembly
• Push the bearing block with
premounted fixed bearing on to the
screw of the BSD.
• Clamp the screw in position, using
plastic jaws.
• Tighten the slotted nut (1) with three
times the rated torque and then
reloosen and finally tighten with the
specified torque. This process
pretensions the fixed bearing.
• Fix the slotted nut with two set screws
(2).

• Slightly tighten the cheese-head screws
(3).
• Drive in the straight pins (4).
• Tighten the cheese-head screws with
the specified tightening torque

Montage du palier fixe dans la
traverse
• Retourner la traverse et la poser sur un
support plan.
• Glisser prudemment le palier fixe neuf
dans la traverse jusqu'en butée sans le
gauchir ni appuyer sur la bague
intérieure du palier !
• Enduire la bague filetée de colle Loctite
638 et la serrer.

Montage de la traverse munie du
palier fixe
• Glisser la traverse munie du palier fixe
sur lavis de la VAB.
• Maintenir la vis à bille. Employer des
mors en plastique !
• Serrer l'écrou à encoches (1) au triple
du couple, le desserrer puis le resserrer
à son couple de serrage définitif. Le
palier fixe est ainsi préchargé.
• Fixer l'écrou à encoches avec deux vis
de blocage (2).

• Serrer légèrement les vis à tête
cylindrique (3).
• Introduire les goupilles cylindriques (4).
• Serrer les vis à tête cylindrique au
. couple indiqué

Montaggio cuscinetto di vincolo
assiale nella traversa
• Capovolgere la traversa e appoggiarla
su superficie piana.
• Inserire nell'alloggiamento un nuovo
cuscinetto di vincolo assiale e mandarlo
in battuta, senza inclinarlo, evitando di
esercitare pressione sull'anello interno
• Spalmare il filetto della ghiera con
l'adesivo Loctite 638 e procedere al
bloccaggio in sito del cuscinetto.

Montaggio traversa con cuscinetto di
vincolo assiale
• Sul codolo della vite a sfere calzare il
cuscinetto contenuto nella traversa.
• Bloccare la vite a sfere. Utilizzare
ganasce di plastica.
• Serrare la ghiera a tacche (1) con
triplice coppia di serraggio, allentarla e
poi serrarla definitivamente con la cop-
pia di serraggio dovuta. In tal modo, il
cuscinetto a doppia corona di sfere a
contatto obliquo risulta precaricato.
• Fissare la ghiera a tacche con 2 grani
filettati (2).
