Getting Started - Up to 100 Fronius IG TL Inverters
via an RS 422 Interface

General

The following steps must be carried out in order to be able to use the interface protocol:

NOTE! When installing cabling for data communication components, follow the
instructions in leaflet 42,0410,1804! Either download the leaflet 42,0410,1804
from the Fronius Homepage (www.fronius.com / Solar Electronics / Info & Sup-
port / Third-party Downloads / Fronius Interface /) or request it from Fronius Tech-
nical Support.
Assign a separate inverter number to each inverter
Activate the interface protocol for each inverter
Install the cabling for the Fronius inverter and the third party device (PC, converter,
etc.) in accordance with the leaflet 42,0410,1804
Insert the termination plug into the last free "IN" socket on an inverter.
NOTE! The baud rate does not have to be set for this inverter.
Select "DATCOM" in the Setup menu
