• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety
standards. In case of signs of damage to the appliance or the power
cord, unplug the appliance immediately. Repairs may be effected
by authorised specialist shops only. Improper repairs may result in
considerable dangers for the user.
• If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, it must be replaced
by a qualified person in order to avoid any risks.
• Improper use and disregard of this instruction manual will void all
warranty claims.
Safety advises for using the appliance:
ATTENTION: Risk of injuries/burns!
• Surfaces of the appliance housing, heating bowl, cover and
prepared food is getting hot during operation!
• Hot surfaces still stay hot for some time, even after switching
the appliance off!
• During preparation, hot steam escapes from the steam outlet
at the cover!
• When opening the cover, hot steam may escape!
Thus, always act with caution!
• For each cooking procedure, always use the amount of water which
is indicated on the measuring cup! Never operate the appliance
without water.
• We recommend to use pot clothes when handling the cover or the
egg tray!
• Lift the cover upwards slowly and smoothly with both handles!
• Do not bend over the appliance during operation!
• In case there is some residual water left in the heating bowl after
the cooking process, let the appliance cool down first before
draining it.
• Overfilling the heating bowl might cause boiling water to splash out
during operation!
• Pay attention when handling the measuring cup. There is a pointed
needle at its underside!
• The appliance as well as all accessory parts must cool down
completely before cleaning or carrying them!
