4. While pushing down on the saddle, tighten the axle bolts (Oskar)
or axle nuts (Heinrich/Hannah) to the correct torque depending
on the e-bike

For the e-bike model Oskar, rear wheel installation is hereby complete.
5. To re-attach the shift cable, push the small black lever clockwise
(Figure 30), hook the cable end to the cable drum of the hub (A) and
the rubber end of the housing (B) to the support bracket (C).
6. Finally, check the adjustment of the gear hub (next chapter).
Make sure to carry out each of these steps with the utmost
care and diligence. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to
contact your specialised dealer.

7.8. Alfine 8 internal gear hub adjustment

Check the adjustment of the gear hub. Therefore, shift to the 4th gear
and turn the adjustment knob (Figure 34) at the shifter until the two
yellow markings in the little window of the cable drum align (Figure
33). Shift through all gears and check alignment in 4
the deflection is not according to the requirements, loosen the bolts
and adjust the belt tension again. Make sure that the rear wheel is
centered between the chain stays.
